We are planning a trip to Vietnam later this year and saw your post on Four seasons in Hoi Ann along with Antara, albeit several years ago. While we loved the four seasons property, do you think it makes sense to stay at Antara so we can walk into the town?
Also, my husband would like a beautiful beach and snorkeling for about a week to relax after our trip. It doesn’t look like any places in Vietnam have anything special. Wasn’t impressed with six senses in Can Do (which we normally like. We don’t want to travel far in taking many planes, etc. any thoughts on where/resorts that would fit the bill. I should just add that the second meal was on the light side, but this is not just on UA but on all airlines flying Westbound over the Atlantic, including to the West coast. And yes, the food on UA and other North American Airlines is not gourmet ; it just makes the job, as the wines are doing ; I am sorry to say that this is more or less the same on mine/our (former) “national”airline, and that the catering on these airlines is far beyond AF’s.

For some reason, you did not review the lounge at BRU (maybe because often done in the past), but if you had done it, probably would you have agreed with me. The common lounge used by UA in terminal B is just sub-par, and PAX who have enough time before flying non-Shengen with a Star Alliance airline should be encouraged to visit instead the SN lounge in terminal A, allowing an extra 15 minutes or so to go from terminal A to B ; even if there are better examples elsewhere, this is the best lounge in BRU and a better way to start your day.
